Multidimensional Paintings by Cinta Vidal

Barcelona artist Cinta Vidal takes a surreal approach to painting with her unique brand of dimension-bending architecture and living spaces. Murals, wall paintings and wood panels are her media of choice, a decision which she leverages to her advantage with palettes that deliberately play off of the warm undertones of underlying surfaces.

A polished rendering style underscores crisp geometric shapes and patterns when needed, and proves adept while wandering into wilder territories of flora, fauna, land and sea. Her love for scenography and cinematic backdrops is evident here, with large format renderings that supply just enough realism to trick the eye for a believable setting.
